Can the USB-C power supply port charge my laptop or host device?
No. The USB-C power input port is only for powering the hub itself and connected peripherals; it does not charge your laptop.
What’s the purpose of the USB-C power supply port?
It powers the hub and provides stable current to high-demand peripherals (e.g., 2.5″ HDDs without their own power).
Can I charge peripherals through this hub?
Yes. The hub supports up to 87W input to power connected peripherals. For laptop charging, use the 7-in-1 model with 100W PD passthrough.
Why isn’t my data transfer speed reaching 10Gbps?
Will both USB-C ports run at 10Gbps simultaneously?
Yes on Thunderbolt 3/4 hosts with sufficient bandwidth. On standard USB-C hosts, total bandwidth may be shared.
Is this hub compatible with USB4/Thunderbolt?
Yes. Fully backward compatible with USB4 / Thunderbolt 3 / Thunderbolt 4.
Why can’t I connect to Ethernet?
Ethernet still won’t work after driver installation. What’s wrong?
Check for conflicting old drivers (uninstall them first), reboot, or try a different USB port.
Does this support 2.5G/5G Ethernet?
No. This model supports Gigabit (1000Mbps) only. For multi-gigabit speeds, use the 2.5GbE model.
Can I use Ethernet with gaming consoles?
Yes. Works with Steam Deck, Nintendo Switch (dock mode), and Xbox/PS5 (via USB adapter).
Is there an HDMI or video output?
No. This hub does not include video ports (HDMI/DisplayPort).
Is it compatible with M1/M2 MacBooks?

Why does my wireless mouse act erratic when connected?
